Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Credit Card Center is established
with the approval of the China Banking Regulatory Commission
and the People's Bank of China. It is set up as an independent
business unit of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, licensed
to operate a professionally managed card business.
The Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Credit Card Center
was officially set up in January 2004, and is the first
to issue a credit card with foreign bank management and
technology that can be settled both in RMB and US Dollars
- The Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Credit Card. The
Cards are being distributed first in Shanghai and later
in China's major metropolitan areas through Shanghai Pudong
Development Bank's network of 290 branches spread across
the country.
